# Applications in SGP

> How to create new applications in SGP.

There are two types of applications you can create in SGP, native applications and external applications.

# Native Applications

Native applications are applications that you can build and run inside Scale's Generative AI Platform.

# External Applications

If you have an external application already built off platform that you want to evaluate through SGP, learn how to set up an external application for evaluation [here](/docs/external-applications).
